Our office provides the service of billing our patients’ insurance, and accepting assignment of benefits. However, it is important for patients to remember that their policy is a contract between them and their insurance company. Although we are happy to assist by answering questions and submitting pretreatment estimates, it is ultimately the responsibility of the patient to know what their annual maximum benefits are, which services are covered and at what percentage. The patient is responsible for all fees not covered by their insurance policy.
